Main duties of the job

o Develop and maintain the Master and Reference Data architecture strategy and roadmap.o Design corresponding data models, data flow diagrams, and data integration patterns.o Ensure data architecture aligns with the overall solution architecture and meets business requirements and adheres to NHS data vision.o Conduct detailed reviews of solution architecture ahead of technical design authority meetings.o Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical data solutions.o Review and scrutinise data architecture solutions from suppliers and validate the implementation of these solutions.o Define data management frameworks, policies, and standards and assure them through relevant governance and review panels.o Validate data integration requirements and data integration workflows.o Validate supplier approach to data consistency and integrity across different data sources and systems.o Validate data integration processes to ensure efficiency and performance.o Conduct data analysis to identify data requirements and design data models.Please see the attached JD for more duties of the job.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
