Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Director for Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Recovery to play a pivotal role in delivering the national UEC Tiering Programme, as part of the UEC Recovery Plan. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the recovery of urgent and emergency care services across the healthcare system.
Main duties of the job
As part of the UEC improvement approach, you will be responsible for the delivery of the overall tiering programme for the most challenged systems and providers, with Tier 1 providing the most intensive support offer for those systems off-target on delivery, and to help them develop and deliver sustainable plans for improvement of UEC services.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
