Job summary

The National Disease Registration Service (NDRS) is part of NHS England Transformation Directorate, Data and Analytics. In partnership with other teams and groups within NHS England and beyond we provide the expertise to identify, collect, collate and quality-assure detailed and rich population-level datasets for specific diseases and conditions.

Main duties of the job

As a Business Analysis Manager, you will collaborate with executive stakeholders to strategically align business and IT initiatives to drive the achievement of organisational goals. Your responsibilities will include defining overarching strategies, prioritising business requirements, conducting comprehensive feasibility studies, developing high-level and detailed business models, and overseeing the end-to-end definition and implementation of integrated solutions.

You will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of staff within the operations team, this includes responsibility for achieving objectives, performance management and employee development.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
