Job summary
A number of exciting opportunities have arisen for highly organised, motivated individuals to join the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) as Lead Administrators.
The NSHCS is responsible for overseeing and supporting the implementation and delivery of training and education programmes for Healthcare Scientists. These posts will be an integral part of the School in supporting the progression, assessment and completion of programmes for learners so they can provide high quality scientific services to patients.
The post holders will work with a wide and varied range of stakeholders at all levels and will have an important external facing role in liaising with trainees and their training departments across the UK.

Main duties of the job
The post holders will be responsible for providing comprehensive business and project administration support as part of the School's Programme Support team. This will include meeting and event management, providing professional communication and support services for trainees, training departments, assessors and other stakeholders. Management, collation and reporting of data, minute taking, working confidentially with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The roles include management of the school mailboxes, ensuring emails are answered in an accurate, timely and professional way.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, you must have proven administrative and project support skills, experience and be committed to providing a quality support service, working with a high degree of professionalism being capable of managing a very diverse workload working to tight deadlines. You should have an NVQ Level 3 in a related subject or equivalent experience with excellent IT skills and confident in using Microsoft office packages.
Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills are essential in these roles. We are also seeking people with the skills to work independently using their own initiative with minimal supervision who are also capable of overseeing the workload of others and delivering to deadlines.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.
