Job summary

We are looking to recruit to the post of Medical Oncology Training Programme Director for the Thames Valley School of Medicine. This requires 2 hours per week which equates to £5k per annum.

The role of Training Programme Director is to work with and support the Head of School in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned to the Health Education England mandate.

Main duties of the job

TheTraining Programme Directorisprofessionally and managerially accountable to theHead of School.TheTraining Programme Directorwill focus upon improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes, both now and in the future. The role is evolvingand will also focuson whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
