Job summary
As Training Programme Director, you will be responsible for coordinating the training across the region. You will ensure that national standards, determined by Royal Colleges, the GMC and NHS England are implemented locally.
Applicants must be currently working within the West Midlands area at consultant level or equivalent in the specialty school area.
Experience within the specialty at consultant level is essential as is considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
Main duties of the job
You will work with the Head of School to produce doctors who will strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care and commit themselves to a lifetime of professional development.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
