Job summary
We are looking to recruit to the post of Ophthalmology Training Programme Director.
This post will be for 3 years with an opportunity to extend for a further 2 years.
This role is for 2 hours per week and will be £5000 per annum.
The role ofTraining Programme Directoris to work with and support theHead of Schoolinleading the delivery ofa wide range of functions,aligned tothe NHS England mandate.
Main duties of the job
The Training Programme Director is professionally and managerially accountable to the Head of School. The Training Programme Director will focus upon improvement of learner supervision, assessment and experience, engagement of faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes, both now and in the future. The role is evolving and will also focus on whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.
