Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a small and friendly team. The post will be based within NHS England's Workforce, Training & Education Directorate in the Education Quality Team.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and efficient individual who is able to work in a busy environment and support the team in their roles.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality administrative support to the team including diary management and support with the organisation of meetings including meetings with providers across the region.
You will be required to deal with enquiries over the telephone or via e-mail, arrange meetings and visits in collaboration with team members and other relevant internal and external colleagues, working collaboratively across NHS England and its stakeholders.
You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, have a good knowledge of Microsoft Windows packages, be flexible in your approach and have the ability to work on your own as well as with colleagues.
Experience of working within the NHS (or an organisation of comparable complexity) would be an advantage.
Your office base will be Victoria House, Fulbourn. We anticipate that you will spend 2 days a week in the office and work remotely for the remainder.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
