Main duties of the job

AsHead of Digital Transformation for GreaterLancashire & South Cumbriathe post holder will work as part of a dynamic regional team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the North West area to provide digital transformation strategic leadership and vision to support local transformation programmes, particularly in Primary Care.

The post holder will lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and well-co-ordinated Digital Transformation service capable of meeting all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements ensuring alignment with the activity of the organisation.

An important aspect of the role is about managing the interface with a range of stakeholders such as NHS England regional and national teams, Integrated Care System, Ambulance Trusts. The post-holder is expected to be able to engage confidently with and provide regular briefings for senior stakeholders.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.

Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
