We're seeking a Regional lead/programme manager (Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of the pharmacy integration programme and post-registration practice in the South West.
The post-holder will be a key member of the NHSE SW WT&E Pharmacy team. The role will coordinate a range of community pharmacy and primary care related pharmacy workforce, training and education projects, from proof-of-concept work, to integrating emerging initiatives with established programmes. Several projects within the programme are already being delivered, with further proposals in development. The post holder will work closely with the South West Regional Head of Pharmacy and Head of School (WTE), Regional Pharmacy Integration Lead (Medical Directorate), along with the regional Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacist WTE teams.We offer an inclusive, supportive working environment and are fully supportive of ongoing training and development opportunities to progress your career.

Main duties of the job
o Managing the delivery of workforce, training and education components of the Pharmacy Integration Programme in the South Westo Working in partnership with regional, ICS and place level pharmacy, and primary care teams to collaboratively deliver a programme of activity that meets the needs of patients locally.o Developing and maintaining relationships with a range of stakeholders across NHS England, both regionally and nationally.o Convening and facilitating senior stakeholder meetings, briefings, conferences, workshops, and other forums as appropriate.o Leading consultations and task and finish groups to understand system requirements.o Overseeing the management of the Pharmacy Integration Programme aspects of the regional Pharmacy WTE budget.
The post holder will be highly visible and work collaboratively within the regional footprint, alongside stakeholders which include universities, employers, the Integrated Care Systems in the South West, and regulatory bodies such as the GPhC.

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
