Job summary
The South East Covid Vaccination Programme is recruiting a Senior Project Manager. The post holder will have knowledge of primary care contracting and commissioning and will support the programme in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning, and service delivery.
Main duties of the job
The post holder must have strong core skill sets across project management, stakeholder management, performance management and analytics. The role will lead on a range of covid vaccination assignments and projects.
We are looking for candidates who have a wide range of experience and can bring a breadth of knowledge in end-to-end project management. The role responsibilities include:
- delivering a number of key projects in primary care contracting and commissioning
- providing complex guidance and advice
- reviewing, advising & assuring ICB delivery plans
- interpreting and implementing complex National guidance
- interpreting and analysing data to create complex reports
- monitoring ICB performance & outcomes measures
- managing stakeholder relationships with National, Regional and ICB colleagues and the wider vaccination programme

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
