Job summary

Main duties of the job

This is a rare opportunity for a budding behavioural scientist to join an established team applying behavioural analysis and intervention design to important and interesting NHS challenges. These include health prevention, the use of digital health technologies, and improving the working experience of busy NHS staff.

  • Educated to postgraduate degree level in a behavioural science discipline; or equivalent work experience of working in a behavioural science role

Knowledge

Essential

  • Knowledge and experience of using behavioural science concepts and frameworks

  • Experience of using behavioural science to fix real-world problems or to make practical policy recommendations
  • Experience of mixed methods research, probably including observational and experimental methods
  • An interest or experience in working in a consultancy type role
  • An interest or experience in behavioural change in the NHS or other health and healthcare settings
