We're seeking a training and education manager to provide a broad range of business and administrative management to the pharmacy workforce, training and education (WT&E) team across the South West.
The post-holder will be a key member of the NHSE SW WT&E Pharmacy team whose overarching goal will be to enable the delivery of an exciting workforce programme. The role will primarily support the Regional Head of Pharmacy and Head of School of Pharmacy to ensure high quality delivery of operational goals, governance and programme activity, and overall effective functioning of the business and performance agenda within the team.
Tasks will include management of the business function, monitoring progress against delivery of work programmes and managing financial processes. Being the interface between Senior Management and the wider network of stakeholders you'll build strong relationships with key pharmacy stakeholders across the region.

Main duties of the job
- Support the Regional Head of Pharmacy, and their teams to ensure that their workstream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in assisting in their successful delivery
- Manage the Team's business support function, including developing and managing the team's business plan, progress and reporting risk and issue management
- Manage the internal and external communication strategy
- Manage all corporate business returns, including planning and workforce returns
- Take a lead in the coordination of training & development and recruitment activity across the Team
- Oversight and management of all aspects of the Team budgets.
