Job summary
The Training Programme Director in Vascular Surgery (NW & Mersey) will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Surgery
The post holder will lead on the development of the School's Recruitment and Retention Strategy and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme
The post holder will be a member of the School Board
This role will cover the NW and the Mersey regions.
Please note this is a 3-year secondment extendable to a maximum of three years, subject to mutual agreement
Main duties of the job
Work in collaboration with Head of School of Surgery to develop and
implement a Medical Workforce Strategy which supports the recruitment
and retention of Vascular Surgery Trainees with focus on the regional
education programs.

- Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons
- Consultant currently working in the NHS in the North West of England
