We are looking for a highly experienced and capable leader who has the necessary skills and attributes to deliver high value and sustainable commercial transformation, with excellent end-to-end commercial practice experience, preferably in the public sector.

This role, working within the NHS England Commercial function, requires an individual who can translate the overall commercial vision and strategy into an efficient operating model, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency

  • Deputising internally and externally for the Associate Director of Commercial Governance, Policy & Improvement.
  • Support in embedding the new commercial operating model, building in milestones by which to measure success and drive further development.
  • Leading the development of guidance and best practice to drive consistency and build commercial excellence across the directorate.
  • Deliver measurable benefits through our efficiency & KPI targets.
  • Improve our effectiveness in achieving our commercial strategic objectives.
  • Support in developing a service model that ensures value for money, efficiency and promotes excellence.
