Job summary
The Trainee Improvement Fellowship is an innovative position for trainees with an interest in educational delivery, quality improvement and NHS leadership.
These two Trainee Improvement Fellowships will have an emphasis on the implementation of Enhance Enable in HETV. The national Enhance programme is an exciting new approach to developing integrated postgraduate medical training.
The initial offer is to Foundation trainees but the intention is to extend the programme offer to all specialty trainees.
The TIFs for Enhance will work with the FTPD leads for Enhance within the Oxford Foundation School to develop local processes to support Foundation trainees wishing to achieve certification for Enhance Enable. Please see this link for further details:-

Main duties of the job
Reporting, mentoring and educational supervision:
The successful candidates will retain an educational and clinical supervisor from their parent speciality who will be responsible for their development with respect to their clinical work.
In the fellowship role, the trainee will be mentored by the FTPDs for Enhance (Dr Joyce Elliott and Dr Fainia Kavvoura) supported by Dr Anne Edwards the FSD for the OFS.
