Job summary
The Workforce, Training and Education (WT&E) Directorate exists for one reason only: to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.
The Programme Support Team within WT&E are looking to appoint a full-time Programme Support Administrator on a fixed-term basis for 12 months until January 2025.
Main duties of the job
The Programme Support Team are responsible for the management and administration of the training programmes of our doctors in training (hospital consultants of the future).
This is a key administrative role and will support the Foundation Directorate providing operational support to the Programme Support Manager and wider team of colleagues.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of training programme management and administration. This will include use of online surveys, databases, online training portfolios and spreadsheets. The ability to communicate effectively, act independently and deal with information confidentially are skills essential to the role.
