Learning and Development Practitioner and E-Learning apprentice

Job summary

The Digital Learning Practitioner Apprentice supports the L&D team working closely with others to design and deliver high quality, effective, multidisciplinary training and online programs, which meet individual training needs and facilitate the personal development of staff and members.

They will provide some administrative support to team members to facilitate the smooth running of the L&D function and help manage and direct the queries that come into the team.

They will support the creation of a learning culture by embedding the 70:20:10 concept through the use of carefully thought out learning opportunities.

They will support the development of the e-Learning platforms, supporting staff and members, identifying additional programmes and monitoring the usage and effectiveness of the platforms.

*Please note, this role can be a home-based role.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will actively design and produce e-learning materials including interactive work books, podcasts and animation videos for staff and members to support learning at the HRA. They will promote the e-learning courses available and explore what elearning courses staff would like to see made available on the platform.

The post holder will also produce and present information on the usage and effectiveness of the elearning platform and work with the team to contribute to the design and delivery of high quality, effective in-house training programmes and provide individual support where appropriate to facilitate the achievement of learning objectives.

  • IT qualification or media design qualification at A Level or BTEC - or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Qualified in the use of eLearning software such as Storyline, Articulate, VYOND, Camtasia or be prepared to train

Knowledge
