The NHS Resolution Claims Management function is entering a phase of transformation and expansion with a vision to deliver a single, integrated claims function, with a supportive organisational structure that avoids duplication of effort and allows teams to develop their skills.

We are therefore recruiting to a Contracts Support Manager role to join the Claims Management teams on a permanent contract basis. The Claims teams work in an interesting and dynamic climate, all contributing to a continually improving claims service.
The Contracts Support Manager role involves managing the relationship and monitoring performance of a number of suppliers, including the legal panel, costs panel and loss adjustor services, as well as working with colleagues across NHS Resolution, as part of the Claims Performance and Improvement Team. Supporting the Contracts Manager in reviewing and improving on Claims suppliers service delivery, and contributing to identifying and delivery of costs savings and service improvement.
Main duties of the job
The role includes:
Using claims knowledge and experience to analyse supplier performance, identify opportunities and influence improvementThe opportunity to lead on managing the relationships involved in claims contracts, both internally and with suppliersWorking with the procurement team on the procurement of services, including scoping requirements and development of business cases, and the opportunity to input into the new legal panel contract and future tendersWorking with the business intelligence team on refining performance data to improve monitoring of supplier performanceContributing to the development of the Contract Management function including creation of best practice
In addition to having technical knowledge and experience of claims management and excellent organisational skills the Contracts Support Manager will also demonstrate the following competencies:
