We are therefore recruiting to a Knowledge Management Support Officer role
to join the Knowledge and Information Management Team in the Corporate and
Information Governance deputy directorate on a permanent basis.
This exciting role will be responsible for providing administrative
support to the Knowledge Management function, maintaining a central Knowledge Hub
with relevant content, organising training sessions, supporting the leavers
pack process by extracting
knowledge of value to the organisation, and gathering data to support the review
of knowledge management.
In addition to strong organisational and planning skills, the Knowledge
Management Support Officer will also demonstrate the following competencies:An ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly
An ability to identify key points and provide succinct summaries
Good verbal and written communication
An understanding of confidentiality in the workplace
Main duties of the job
The
Knowledge Management Support Officer is responsible for supporting the delivery
of the leavers pack across the organisation. This pack has been designed to
capture key knowledge from staff leaving the organisation or changing roles
within it. The post holder will assist staff members in completing the pack and
extract knowledge of relevance and value to the organisation.
The
post holder assists in planning and organising the reviews for knowledge
management. They will analyse and provide data by which NHS Resolutions
performance against the key success criteria can be measured and monitored.
The
Knowledge Management Support Officer is responsible for delivering maximum
value for the business by maintaining the Knowledge Hub for the organisation,
uploading and editing content as required, so that teams can access relevant
and useful knowledge to assist in the delivery of their own objectives.
The post holder is responsible for organising all training
delivered by the Knowledge Manager and communicating sessions to staff members.
They are also responsible for supporting the team in providing expert advice,
specifically concerning knowledge management principles and practices.
The post holder will
also support the Knowledge Manager to determine the further requirements needed
to facilitate and deliver the knowledge

concerns and disputes; to target safety activity while sharing learning across
the NHS.
