Job summary

The Digital Content and Channels Executive plays a key role in supporting our external and internal digital communications projects and campaigns. This role is to support maternity leave in the team.

The post holder will primarily design creative content and support the co-ordination of digital communications projects across the organisation, as part of the Digital Communications team within the Policy, Strategy and Communications directorate.

The post holder will have experience of using Adobe CS programmes including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator and be able to follow and advise colleagues on our branding guidelines and corporate style guide and accessibility.

The post holder will be expected to create, edit and manage the content on the corporate website, intranet and social media, and have good working knowledge of content management systems.

Main duties of the job

The main dues are:

Creates and designs corporate materials for external communications projects, digital marketing campaigns, corporate events and internal communications using Adobe CS programmes including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Content creation and co-ordination of digital communications across all the organisations digital channels, including website and social media.

Helps project manage the development of digital solutions, providing input to design, initiation and development of digital media and other projects, including design of briefs, project plans, timelines, schedules and trackers.

Ensures content is on brand, consistent, accurate and high quality, adhering to the brand guidelines and corporate style guide.

Supports the Digital Communications Content teams planning and management and other associated tasks as required.

Develops and fosters strong relationships with key internal customers through good communication, and setting realistic timescales and deadlines.

You will join a Digital Communications team which supports the delivery of external and internal digital communications projects across the organisation.

The post holder will use their experience in graphic design and digital content creation to deliver and co-ordinate digital projects and campaigns helping our organisation meet our corporate priorities, outlined in our most recent business plan<link if we can>.

With the Digital Content and Channels Officer and Digital Communications team you will ensure the organisations digital content is on brand, consistent, accurate and high quality, adhering to the new brand guidelines and corporate style guide.

You will work with colleagues across the organisation to project manage the development of digital solutions, providing input to design, initiation and development of digital media and other projects, including design of briefs, project plans, timelines, schedules and trackers.
