Job summary

This role offers you the exciting opportunity to work in the newly formed SIAM team within Digital, Data and Technology & Transformation (DDaTT).

DDaTT is helping to modernise and transform the business, putting the user at the heart of everything we do including the delivery of business solutions using agile methods.

In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of a robust quality assured IT Change Management function to NHS Resolution and its stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

Taking full ownership of the IT Change Management methodology, processes, procedures and supporting tool-sets.

Managing IT changes through the process from creation through to successful release ensuring minimal impact to live service performance.

Analysing complex services, covering a diverse range of technologies and 3rd party suppliers, to ensure that proposed requests for change (RFC) are safe and fit for purpose, including comprehensive review of risk, business impact & continuity, back-out plans, implementation and test plans, resource requirements and availability.

Chairing the Change Advisory Board making sure that all IT changes reviewed fully prior to each meeting and informed approvals are given by relevant stakeholders.

Pro-active identification and management of improvements to the current processes.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in managing an ITIL aligned IT Change Management process

Professional qualification or equivalent experience in IT

Education to a degree level or equivalent experience

ITIL V3/V4 Certified (Foundation minimum)

Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships

Articulate with strong influencing, persuasion and motivation skills
