Our established programme of education aims to share good practice and learning from Advices casework and disseminate the information widely to NHS Medical Directors, Responsible Officers, Chief Executives, Clinical Directors, HR Directors and all who deal first-hand with concerns about performance. Every year we have contact with over 2000 delegates through almost 200 workshops, presentations or conferences. Ensuring we continue to have the right
people, in the right roles with the right behaviours with access to the right
opportunities, exposure, stretch and development to deliver an effective
service is crucial. We are therefore
recruiting an Education Programme
Executive to join the Practitioner Performance Advice function on a permanent contract basis. You
will manage the delivery of a range of complex learning projects Advice
Service. You will form part of the Education Team, and will work closely with
the Education Manager and other subject matter experts, contributing to the
annual plan of work to enhance and develop the existing product portfolio. This exciting and unique role helps build
knowledge, skills and capability nationally across the wider NHS. The role will
include design, development, implementation
and evaluation of educational training programmes and materials, supported by well
written and meaningful learning objectives for expert adult learners to support
their ability to manage and resolve concerns about practitioner performance.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Education
Manager and subject matter experts to design, develop, trial, pilot, launch,
and evaluate specified development interventions. These interventions may be
in-person, virtual, or digital. Develop and write
educational training programmes with robust objectives that enhance the Advice
education offer and build capacity in organisations. Implement and evaluate
the annual programme of work set out in the education strategy. Design, lead, and
coordinate train the trainer programmes and events. Provide operational
oversight of the delivery of workshops, including forward planning and
resourcing. Provide a
customer-focused service through a timely, confident response to internal and
external customer needs and queries via telephone, face-to-face work, and
email.You're likely to have a
masters degree or similar experience, and you have managed programmes in
different fields. You'll keep learning and follow GDS best practice. You have project
management skills and know how to use various methods and tools. You have led and
delivered tech programmes with new solutions for different business areas. You have delivered big
programmes in the public sector. You have worked with,
coached and developed team members who deliver sub projects / work streams in a
complex programme. You have managed risks
and issues in a complex programme environment.

NHS Resolutions Practitioner Performance Advice function provides a range of expert services to NHS organisations and other bodies in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and other administrations. Our services include the provision of case management advice as well as assessments and other specialist interventions.
