What you'll be doing:
As HR Business Partner with responsibility for a specific area and line management of HR Advisors, you will deliver a comprehensive and professional service to the organisation and support delivery of the NHS Resolution People Strategy 2025 - 2028 and Business plan. There will be a particular focus on the following people priorities:
- Reporting to the Head of HR, you will ensure the provision of professional customer-focused HR advice, coaching and solutions that support the business in the identification and management of varied workforce issues and major change programmes including continuous improvement.
- Work as a pivotal member of the HR&OD function to develop collaborative and outcome focused HR interventions from conception through to development and implementation.
- You will inform future plans in connection with business strategy and people priorities that affect knowledge-based solutions, different ways of working and soft skills development arising from ER cases or common people themes.
What you'll bring:
- Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources e.g. masters in human resource management or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Chartered MCIPD or working towards this level of membership
- Up to date in depth knowledge of a range of employment law e.g., employee relations, equality issues
- Proven track record of working as an HR Manager/HR Business Partner including advising on a range of complex Employee Relations issues, change management programmes, etc.
- Effective personal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide clear and accurate information to managers and staff and the ability to gain the confidence of and influence people at all levels.
- Evidence of success in building and forming working relationships and working flexibly, across professional and operational boundaries to make NHS Resolution a great place to work.
- Flexible approach to a changing working environment and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience of using HR information systems, (ESR), including analysis and interpretation of statistical information and the ability to present it in an accessible manner to support decision making
- Team player with excellent persuasion and negotiation skills with the ability to challenge constructively and drive change
