Job summary
NHS Resolution is a not-for-profit part of the NHS, working with health care providers to resolve claims fairly, and to share learning across the NHS and beyond. We provide a supportive environment for our staff with specialist training and the opportunity for personal development.
Due to an internal move, we are recruiting for a new team member within our HR Services and Payroll Team for a 12-month fixed term on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday.
You will have a payroll background and ideally experience in using ESR HR/Payroll software with HR or Payroll administration experience. As well as excellent attention to detail, a high level of numeracy, and organisational skills, the ability to multi-task, with excellent time management. You must be able to effectively prioritise your work to ensure payroll deadlines are met and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service skills are also required to support our internal managers, colleagues, and the wider HR team.
Working within a small, friendly, and supportive team, you will be making contractual changes and answering queries relating to a variety of areas such as pay, annual leave, pensions, and absence. Strong collaboration skills are required to work closely with colleagues and our third-party payroll provider. High accuracy and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

- Safety and Learning: supporting the NHS to better understand and learn from claims, concerns and disputes; to target safety activity while sharing learning across the NHS.
