Job summary
The post holder will provide an
effective and efficient purchasing service to both Synchronicity Care Limited,
CDDFT, TEWVFT & Oxleas NHS FT stakeholders including the appropriate
sourcing and purchasing of low value goods and services.
The post holder will work within the Purchasing and
Information team, alongside their system support colleagues to ensure the
achievement of agreed purchasing KPIs.
As a member of the Procurement Dept the post
holder will also liaise and work with the Procurement and Materials Management
team colleagues.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide an effective and efficient
purchasing service to Synchronicity Care Limited, CDDFT, TEWVFT & Oxleas
NHS FT stakeholders including the appropriate sourcing and purchasing of low
value goods/services.
The post
holder will achieve a portfolio of purchasing KPIs, which will be reported to
the senior management team.
Responsible
for the successful completion of quotation exercises using electronic
procurement systems to ensure value for money (VfM) for all stakeholders in
line with Trust policy (such as, SFIs).
The post
holder will provide support and guidance relating to available contracts /
catalogues and provide advice relating to purchasing processes and Trust SFIs
to stakeholders.
Organise
and plan workload to ensure order requests are processed, contracts reviewed
and reports are produced within departmental timescales/KPIs.
The post
holder will identify frequently purchased goods to be added to the electronic
catalogue.
To
facilitate product returns, credits, invoice queries and carriage charges.
