Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for a Propert Manager within County Durham and
Darlington NHS Trust (CDDFT).Working within the Trusts wholly owned subsidiary
(Sychronicity Care Limited -SCL) the post holder will provide a professional
property management service across the organisation.They will work with senior
role staff across the Trust and within SCL to delivery a first class property
service. this will include management of leases for landlord properties and
internal buildings within the organisation. Liaising with a full renage of trust
staff will be required at senior level. Reporting needs to be delivered on time
for management of the property portfolio.This is a senior mangement post delivering
and leading a profesionally led service.
Main duties of the job
The role encompasses leadership
and delivering a property management role to the Trust/SCL.
The post manages a small staff
team within the proerty field and encompasses accomodation requirement both
inside and outside the organisation.
Aditionally the role covers
negotiations with external landlords over rental fees and lease documentation
requiring knowledge to negitiate the same.
This can involve discussion with
Trust Solicitors involved with the terms of legal documents i.e. leases.
This post is a lead role for
Property management and advises on strategy for on-going related developments
This includes discussions for
adding or retracting the Estate and advising on best value in the design of
accomodation arrangements and space utlisation.

- A recognised estates or property related degree and post qualification experience in a property related role.
- Masters level or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience through broad work experience.
- Maintained programme of continuing professional development (CPD)
Desirable
- Professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
- Related qualifications or working towards within the profession/speciality.
