This is an exciting opportunity to join AGH Solutions, Team of the Year - Catering.
We are now recruiting for an Assistant Catering Services Manager - Patient Meal Services, this role is a multifunctional role, and will cover the Patient Meal Service and Hostess & Housekeeping Services, leading and managing a team of over 70 colleagues to ensure the highest standards of service are given to our patients, service users and colleagues, working along side the Head of Patient Meal Services and Head of Retail.
Our Catering Team which recently won Team of the Year, is passionate about our patients experience, and developing our service to meet the needs of our patients, colleagues and service users, but also that we work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, building upon the trusts foundations and right care values.
You will play an active part in enhancing our Patients Experience, along with implanting, and developing the delivery of the Hospital Food Standards, National Cleaning Standards as well as our Food and Drink Strategy, to ensure that we are compliant on legislation, and also help with shaping our service for the future.

Main duties of the job
Responsibility for the provision of Patients food services, namely, Patients Meal Services, Picking and Packing, Hostess and Housekeepers throughout Airedale Hospital and Castleberg Hospital. To ensure the standard of food and production throughout the services is maintained for staff, visitors, patients & customers. Particular emphasis will be based on food quality and deployment of catering staff at patient level. Responsible for managing and achieving labor budgets and increasing sales in the patient facility through a focused patient approach. Also responsible for the implementation and management of all the companies' policies and procedures in the areas of responsibility. Ensuring all staff are trained to the required level to carry out their roles successfully.
To ensure the organisation in provides both Patients, Staff and Visitors with a high quality, person centred and safe catering service by being responsible for the day-to-day running of the Patient Meal and Housekeeper Service.
