Main duties of the job

As Contracts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of maintenance contracts for both Estates and Facilities management responsibilities will encompass a wide array of crucial tasks:

Contract Scope: Leading maintenance contracts, specifically focusing on Estates and Facilities management, ensuring they align with the organisation's policies, public sector regulations, and best practices.

Compliance: Your role will involve upholding various compliance standards, including financial compliance, NHS regulations, public procurement law, and service delivery compliance

SLA's: You will be responsible for producing service level agreements. These documents will adhere to standardised formats developed through the implementation of standard operating procedures

Performance Metrics: Evaluation of contracts will be based on metrics tailored to each tender and service. You will play a key role in setting these metrics to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

Procurement Knowledge: A solid foundation in procurement knowledge is essential, either through qualifications or demonstrated experience. You will provide guidance to service leads, helping them shape service specifications for evaluation and delivery
