Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious enthusiastic individual to work in the Procurement & Supplies Department within North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions, and join a rapidly expanding and constantly developing function.
The successful candidate will be a key asset working with the Senior Procurement Officer within the Corporate Services and Health Lives Care Group; which covers an arrays of areas including ICT Orthotics, Wheelchairs and Community Services
The successful candidate will be is a key interface between Procurement and our client(s), managing the timely negotiation of a range of allocated contracts that offer 'value for money' utilising electronic tools, from the identification of demand through to the award and publication of contracts in line with the published annual plan ensuring compliance with Organisational standards and relevant legislation.
Main duties of the job
Support the Senior Procurement & Contract Manager and Senior Procurement Officer to maximise Supply Chain opportunities, rationalisation & ensure value for money.
Maximise the use of existing contracting opportunities such as NHS Supply Chain, Commercial Procurement Collaborative, Crown Commercial Service, & to release resource for the Procurement agenda by contracting once.

- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Advanced Diploma level 4 or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Advanced Diploma level 6 (MCIPS) or equivalent experience
- Qualification Project Management Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2).
