A position has arisen for a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Plumbing based within the above organisation.
Support service installations and their maintenance are an essential part of the NHS and form a vital link in Health Care Provision. The precise details of any of the apprenticeships are dependent on a number of factors that may be subject to change at various stages of the training and qualifications already obtained, however, the information below will provide an overview of the envisaged training requirements of the apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
The apprentice will attend a college on day and / or block release to achieve the level 3 in plumbing. This will include practical and technical knowledge courses and will lead to their End Point Assessment for their full Apprenticeship Standard, which will take place within the employing organisation and NYNHSAC.
The apprenticeship will potentially commence during the week commencing 21st August 2023 subject to all necessary checks being carried out, including a colour blindness test. Qualifications acceptable on entry are usually a minimum of GCSE at Grade C / 4 in Mathematics and Grade C / 4, or equivalent, in at least 4 other subjects to include a science based subject.
