Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious enthusiastic individual to work in the Procurement & Supplies Department within North Tees & Hartlepool Solutions, and join a rapidly expanding and constantly developing function.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality service, and support an efficient operation of a stock replenishment, receipt, storage & distribution service within the North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, working under the supervision of the SupplyChain Team Leader.
We are looking for an individual with flair and commitment to deliver a high quality service, who also embraces continuous improvement. A flexible approach is also essential as there will be a requirement to work at both our North Tees & Hartlepool hospital sites.
The successful candidate must be computer literate with experience of using electronic Inventory Management Software and the Microsoft Office Suite of business applications.
The role requires the candidate to have knowledge and experience of stock control, supplies/stores functions and providing excellent levels of customer service. The ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organisation is an essential requirement
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality service and support an efficient operation of stock receipt, storage, distribution, ordering of stock and replenishment service within North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions (the Organisation), working under the Integrated Inventory Managersinstructions.
The Integrated Inventory Assistant has particular responsibility for:-1. Providing a Materials Management service to defined areas.2. Timely receipt and distribution of goods.3. Undertaking regular/year end Stocktakes.4. Identify opportunities for Product Standardisation/Rationalisation.The post holder will work independently, reporting directly to the Inventory Team Leader.
