Job summary
To ensure the successful development of objectives, strategy and tactics for the introduction of new and existing products and services, specifically in relation to those which are concerned in medical devices and surgery. To be an expert and point of reference for the organisation at a senior level assisting in the implementation of initiatives which lead to increased revenue.
Main duties of the job
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies relating to Medical devices and surgery.
- Develop networking opportunities to deliver on key products and services.
- Develop sales and marketing materials to promote the products and services.
- Drive commercial growth strategies, outlined in the business plan to assist the team in achieving and exceeding departmental KPIs within agreed budgets.
- Assist in building a client base and recurring revenue through the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics .
- Support the LLP in their design and delivery of strategic commercial objectives.
Support the commercial representation of NTH Solutions through professional and effective communication in internal and external scenarios

- Develop and sustain the momentum to create a culture whereby analysis of UMDs becomes custom practice for all appropriate revision procedures.
- Develop other new products and services which align themselves to current organisations and the wider NHS objectives
- Work collaboratively with all key customers and stakeholders including those from outside the NHS
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies and tactics for customers both internally and externally to the NHS
- Explore and develop wider marketing opportunities of other key products and services
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of service requirements
- Management of new and existing accounts on a nationwide basis.
- Support the development and implementation of required sales documentation and aids in line with brand and tone of voice guide lines across the Client Engagement Team, ensuring that the LLP and Trust values are adhered to at all time. This includes the appropriate use of social media activity across the team to not only maximise individual and corporate profiles but to adhere to social media policy and uphold brand integrity.
- The post holder will be responsible for securing and retaining profitable contracts in line with defined sales targets on a monthly basis by: meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships; identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels; developing and presenting sales proposals to key stakeholders including at executive director level; converting sales opportunities into legally binding contracts using effective communication and nurturing skills; attending and where relevant presenting at events such as exhibitions, conferences and webinars.
