Job summary
A position has arisen for a level 3 Apprenticeship as a painter / decorator based within the above organisation. Please note you will work on NHS sites but will not be directly employed by the NHS.
Support service installations and their maintenance are an essential part of the NHS and form a vital link in Health Care Provision. The precise details of any of the apprenticeship are dependent on a number of factors that may be subject to change at various stages of the training and qualifications already obtained, however, the information below will provide an overview of the envisaged training requirements of the apprenticeship.
Main duties of the job
The major element of the apprenticeship is practical training in the different forms of painting and decorating; the apprentice will attend the College either one day per week or block release.
The apprenticeship will potentially commence during the week commencing 29th August 2022 subject to all necessary funding and employment checks being carried out. Qualifications acceptable on entry are usually a minimum of GCSE Grade C / 4, or equivalent, in at least 5 subjects to include Maths and English.
