Hours: 39 hours full time, flexible working to cover opening hours Monday to Friday 8am-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm including bank holidays.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to support the delivery of outstanding outpatient pharmacy services, based at The Outpatient Pharmacy at the James Cook University Hospital. The post holder will assist in the delivery of services in accordance with relevant professional, ethical and legal standards and locally agreed policies, procedures and guidelines. The post holder will make essential contributions to the daily workflow to ensure outstanding quality services for customers, hospital staff and other service users, whilst demonstrating effective leadership and complying with the General Pharmaceutical Council's code of conduct for responsible pharmacist and registered premises.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support with managing the day to day operations of the pharmacy. The successful candidate will play a role in the professional development of staff in line with operational service requirements, embed a learning culture focusing on both professional and personal developments for colleagues, coach and mentor the team to ensure engagement in achieving success.
We are looking for a motivated and positive individual who can contribute to outstanding outpatient pharmacy services, with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills. Applying candidates should be strong team players, be flexible to change and have confidence to effectively liaise with other health care professionals in a hospital setting.
