An exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Team Manager at HMP Werrington prison.
The successful candidate will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to provide leadership and operational management.
Main duties of the job
To provide team leadership in co-ordinating the day to day provision of integrated wellbeing, mental health and substance misuse healthcare to service users in a custodial setting and maintain the overall standards which will include a single point of referral assessment and delivery of care within the framework of The Care programme Approach and recovery agenda.

To support the clinical lead in the implementation of integrated care pathways including appropriate service user assessments and models of care within a stepped care mental health model. Co-ordinate care delivery, across the mental healthcare pathway e.g. referrals management, allocations of named worker/care co-ordinator, ensuring seamless continuity of care across the stepped care model dependent on service user need. To demonstrate the application of appropriate procedures and standards. To assist in the general management of the clinical area, with responsibilities for managing attendance. Lead on caseload and management supervision to monitor named nurse / care co-ordinator standards of service user care and documentation.
