Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Service Lead to oversee new projects, streamline processes and develop the service. This is a 12 month full time, fixed term contract with a possibility of an extension, secondments may be possible.
Within our Hampshire Inclusion Recovery Service, we run the NHSE funded Wessex Hepatitis C Clinical Van service on behalf of Wessex Hepatitis C Operational Delivery Network (ODN).

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Wessex Clinical Van. There are 2 vans which operate in two geographical locations, each with a Coordinator. The role will include streamlining processes, developing and enhancing existing working arrangements and mobilising short term projects. These included reengagement of people into care, a unique blood borne virus testing project and links with research projects.
The post holder will be responsible for organising outreach and van activity across the region working alongside Drug Treatment Providers such as Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, Inclusion Isle of Wight, Society of St James (Portsmouth) Change Grow Live (Southampton) Turning Point (Salisbury), We Are With You (Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole) Dorset REACH. The post holder will be working closely with Wessex Hepatitis C Operational Delivery Network (ODN) and local Hepatology units in Dorset, Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke and Isle of Wight Hospitals.
The service works with a mixture of internal and external stakeholders, the post holder will be working with Commissioners, Hepatology, community drug treatment, Hepatitis C Trust staff, volunteers and mentors.
Along with this the post holder will have line management responsibilities for a multi disciplinary team
