Job summary

The post offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference to staff, service users and communities across Buckinghamshire.

Whilst we embrace the use of digital technologies to conduct our business the role will require regular travel across Buckinghamshire.

As Service Manager the post holder will be responsible Inclusion's Drug and Alcohol Service - One Recovery Bucks. They will contract management & co-ordinate with partnership services within the One Recovery Bucks System. They will provide operational leadership for One Recovery Bucks, supporting the delivery of high quality services that meet the expectations of those who use our services and commissioners.

The role will be managerially responsible for the performance, operational delivery and strategic development of the service including mobilisation of the new service following a successful re-tender process

Main duties of the job

  • Service Delivery for Adult Alcohol and Drug Users across the County of Buckinghamshire. This includes 2 locality sites and 3 county-wide teams- Family Service, IPS, Recovery flats. In total approx. 60staff.
  • Contract Management & Service Co-ordination of partnership services.
  • To work with the partnership with the accountant and Deputy Head of Operations to effectively manage the Service Budget.
  • To lead on and be accountable for the strategic and operational development of the Buckinghamshire Service - One Recovery Bucks.
  • To work with the Buckinghamshire Clinical Lead to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective services.
  • Line Management for the Clinical Lead, Operations Manager, Safeguarding and complex needs manager.
  • To be involved in National Inclusion initiatives and profile including tendering support & strategy.
