We are looking for a talented individual with creativity, spark and flair to work within our central team to provide line management for the marketing and communications team on a 12 month fixed term contract covering maternity leave. You will be responsible for providing engaging and quality communications to share key messages and promotional resources for our service. You will need to have a good eye for story in words and pictures by producing compelling and creative content.
You will bring your skills and expertise to manage the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications needs across Inclusion and its services.
Main duties of the job
Working remotely, travelling to services or locations when needed, this post is 37.5 hours per week, 12 months fixed term post.
Managing the day-to-day operations of the team, prioritising service needs and ensuring creation and delivery of products/resources within timeframes. Working with key stakeholders, working on new initiatives and mobilisations of new services which can include website development, and other promotional resources.
Leading on the marketing and communications needs at an organisational level.

- Manage the day-to-day delivery of the marketing and communication strategy
- Raise the profile of Inclusion with key stakeholders and groups including those across Local Authorities, PHE, NHSE and key influencers and decision-makers.
- Develop assets and complete activities required to deliver the marketing strategies at a local service and organisational level.
- The strategic development of resources (e.g. toolkits, case studies and information packs) to ensure coordinated cascading of messaging across Inclusion services portfolio (IAPT, Mental Health, Community Drug and Alcohol, Prisons, Wellbeing etc).
- Create a range of high quality and successful communication and engagement activities.
- Lead development of, and day-to-day management of online platforms and systems (e.g. website and social media) and ensuring online platforms reflect Inclusion appropriately.
- Working closely with others, including supervising, allocating and directing communications-related activities in the team.
- Maintain and create Inclusion branded resources used within services in line with brand guidelines and monitor the correct use of the brand across Inclusion footprint.
- To manage and provide day-to-day approval for the marketing and communications team on assets and resources in adherence to Inclusion branding.
- To provide communications, involvement and engagement guidance to local teams, overseeing and supporting local promotional events.
- To commission, write and/or edit briefings, articles, newsletter content, web content and bulletins for internal and external audience.
