We are looking for a talented individual with creativity, spark and flair to work within our Marketing and Communications team, supporting Inclusion's Sexual Health Services (across sites).
The post-holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of a complex and comprehensive portfolio of marketing projects and campaigns, to support the implementation of Inclusion's Sexual Health Services' strategic and operational marketing plan.
The role requires a marketing professional to plan and deliver a programme of communications to a range of target audiences, both internally and externally. This includes educating and communicating brand principles and key messages effectively, keeping them at the heart of all marketing initiatives.
Contributing to the overall marketing and communications plan, the post-holder will develop and deliver design and content management of existing platforms, as well as local marketing activity to support in educating key audiences and increasing service access. This involves working with the wider sexual health and comms teams to establish clear objectives/KPIs and ensure these are measured and delivered effectively. Key stakeholders are also an important part of effective service delivery, and the post-holder will take an active role in building long-term relationships.
The role includes creative freedom through graphic design to fully develop marketing campaigns from start to finish, including the creation of in-house resources
Main duties of the job
Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Marketing and Communications Officer based at Inclusion in Stafford.
Whilst primarily based in Stafford, the successful applicant will be required to travel to our sexual health clinics across the midlands, as and when needed.
You will be responsible for working with external agencies to plan mixed media campaigns to meet targets, whilst managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters and e-newsletters and online materials. You will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing activity is planned in line with the annual budgets and links in with project plans across the teams.
Your duties will also include working with sexual health teams to create presentations and other visual materials to allow successful delivery of the service objectives. You will also be responsible for overseeing advertising and public relations, as well as proofreading, designing and liaising with external suppliers such as printers, agencies and freelancers on allocated projects (i.e. design, print and media translations).
The individual will be able to provide marketing and communications advice to others within the organisation, linking closely with managers. They will also provide marketing and communications support and reports to sexual health teams and via sexual health service committee meetings to support improving the sexual health vision and the commissioned public health outcomes.
