Main duties of the job

Inclusion provide community substance misuse services across 9 Hampshire sites, Aldershot, Andover, Basingstoke, Winchester, Eastleigh, New Forest, Havant, Fareham and Gosport.

We are currently looking for a Non-Medical Prescriber and Health and Wellbeing Lead to join our team and support our service users.

The role will work within a team setting and involve regular prescribing clinics, Health and wellbeing clinics, attending Clinical Team Meetings and playing a role in the detox panel.

You will need to have the following key skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a substance misuse service
  • Registered nurse, social worker or Allied Health Care Professional
  • Non-medical prescriber
  • Be able to work well in a Team

Working in a team and in partnership with Team Leaders, Recovery workers and other prescribers you will

  • In conjunction with Clinical Manager/HWB sector leads, Promote and develop Community Detoxification across Hampshire
  • Carryout SI investigations and write incident and SI reports.
  • With the Clinical manager and HWB leads - support and develop Nurse Prescribing across Hampshire.
  • Provide expert support to new NMP's and all nursing staff.
  • Carryout extensive Independent NMP clinics across designated Hampshire site as stated above.
  • Provision of healthcare treatments and screening to Service user's in line with the public health agenda
