Job summary
This is an opportunity for a HCPC registered clinical psychologist, who has experience of criminal justice and mental health services. You will have experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions for mental health. You will enjoy working independently and have the skills to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues, commissioners and service users. You will have an interest in both the clinical aspects of the role, and developing your strategic and leadership skills. Inclusion deliver the psychology services across five sites within Yorkshire; HMP Leeds, HMP Wakefield, HMP Wealstun, HMP New Hall and HMP Askham Grange. The successful candidate will work alongside another Psychologist, who together will be responsible for delivering psychology services across all sites.
Main duties of the job
Within the prisons within West Yorkshire you will be working as part of established mental health teams, working in collaboration with our primary provider, Practice Plus Group who are supportive, forward thinking and committed to recovery based approaches. Excellent peer support from the Inclusion Psychology Team. Regular training, CPD and quarterly Psychology Team Away Days. An opportunity to develop your skills and experience in relation to strategy and leadership whilst maintaining the clinical aspects of the role.
