Main duties of the job
Trainee Recovery Workers will receive formal Induction and ongoing training for their continued professional development, with the hopes that the skills acquired throughout this traineeship will provide them with the necessary tools to progress to Band 5 Recovery Workers.
The Team deliver care over a 5 day period substance misusing adults, focusing on ensuring that the service users are supported in their recovery based on a collaborative, holistic care plan. You will need to have the following key skills and experience:
- A clear desire to work in a substance misuse setting
- Be willing to undergo further continued professional development, completing qualifications if not already in situ
- Have a genuine passion for working with our clients
- Be able to work well in a Team
- Be open to feedback
- Participate in supervision and training
