Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to progress their career managing a dynamic and well thought of D&A service based in Grays and covering the Thurrock, Essex area.

The service now requires your leadership and expert management skills to help this already strong team develop into the new roles presented in ICS and the ever changing social care environment.
You will need a strong track record of developing and supporting services in the D&A , dependency fields and excellent communication skills. Able to communicate clearly , knowledgably and with conviction in all stakeholder / partnership / public arenas .
Main duties of the job
Day to day management and support of the service .
Ensuring performance and outputs are met safely sustainably and meet best practice guidelines.
Responsible for the correct and professional level of line management / clinical supervision across the whole team and at all levels.
Represent the service at commissioner and contract meetings as well as reporting to senior managers within Inclusion . Have a clear understanding of developments in the field of D&A and how services interact/ co working and partnerships.
Oversee and prepare data submissions and data systems in close liaison with in service data lead and specialist data lead for Inclusion.

Inclusion is a specialist organisation within the highly regarded Midland Partnership Foundation Trust (MPFT) Home - Inclusion Thurrock
Visions has been the D&A service in Thurrock since 2017 and developed many new provisions in partnerships with Police , probation , social care and voluntary agencies such as TBMind . We currently have a number of developments with our partner agencies the recovery college (RC) and specialist mental health services(PTS).
The team at visions are passionate about their work and ensuring the clients voice is always present in any discussion locally (or nationally) and regularly champion the rights of their clients for equal access to physical health, mental health, education and employment services.
Its a friendly and cooperative team who support each other and enjoy the lively banter of a busy workplace but are also sensitive to the stresses of working within this complex and highly rewarding field.
Robust and supportive line management, supervision and ongoing training are central to the teams structure and its day to day functioning.
