Job summary
The post-holder is accountable for the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of control accounts designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the Company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
The role provides business and financial support to the Finance Director, Head of Finance and the senior management team.
This includes day to day financial control and reporting, support for longer term strategic cash flow planning and management of all Treasury services.
Main duties of the job
Treasury and Cash Management
- Maintain and manage the company's daily cashbooks and bank accounts (Turnover £45m)
- Provide cashflow forecasts and analysis for the short , medium and long term as required
- Manage all administration with the company's bankers and review mandates
- Invest surpluses where relevant

In addition we provide consultancy services, advising clients on all aspects of establishing a subsidiary company within an NHS body to the provision of VAT compliance advice.
