Head of Technology Security and Endpoint Management

Job summary

We are recruiting to the position of Head of Technology Security and Endpoint Management, this is a key leadership role in our Technology Services directorate. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and building a team who deliver enterprise-class endpoint and security management services to over 13 thousand clients across our customer base of four healthcare providers in Warwickshire and the surrounding area.

While your current or previous roles may not have been focused on endpoint security and management, your broad technical knowledge of at scale Windows environments will allow you to hit the ground running and professional development focused on enterprise-class security will be provided for the successful candidate.

For this role, it is important that candidates are within a reasonable commuting distance of Nuneaton and Warwick, or willing to arrange overnight accommodation locally, as on-site presence will be required on frequent occasions. For absolute clarity, and to avoid disappointment, the role is not suitable for persons who wish to work entirely on a remote basis.

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the full endpoint lifecycle

Managing endpoint security services and supporting platforms

Leading, motivating and developing a high-performance team

Key deliverables will include:

Implementing a zero-touch endpoint delivery process with a focus on seamless and high-quality user self-service

Managing complexity and maintaining a secure and stable computing environment

Increasing automation in endpoint setup and cyber incident prevention / response

Strategic planning and horizon scanning in an ever-changing security environment
