Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive,
high-level communications and engagement service to Innovate Healthcare
Services by directly supporting the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme
and the wider Business Support Team.
Key aspects of the role include:
To support the development and
delivery of the communications and engagement strategy for the EPR programme.
Proactively and independently
develop, implement and evaluate EPR communications and engagement collateral.
Leading face-to-face engagement
and making stakeholders aware of the EPR programme and its impact to their
roles.
Provide
communications and marketing advice to the programme teams and acting as a communications
specialist.
Creating
and developing communication and engagement content and collateral.
Support the Head of
Communications & Business Support in the day-to-day management and
coordination of communications and engagement (internal and external).
To work in partnership with the
communications and engagement functions at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust
and South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust to ensure a
co-ordinated and planned approach to EPR communications.

Job responsibilities
Lead on the delivery
of the overall communications and engagement strategy for the EPR, with a
focus on service development and user experience.
Lead
on producing clear, persuasive, informative and accessible communication
products and content for internal and external audiences, ensuring
consistency and alignment in approach and tone.
Create
content for communication platforms (both print and digital) such as training
materials, social media assets, communication toolkits.
Represent the Communications and Engagement workstream at
appropriate programme boards.
To develop and maintain an EPR website / areas on the Trusts extranets
and ensure they remain up to date.
To lead on the development of
internal and external EPR communications and engagement strategies where
required by programme workstreams.
To provide regular EPR communications and engagement updates for
internal and external stakeholders (including face-to-face).
Organise and project
manage communication campaigns.
Plan, arrange and
facilitate events, press conferences, photo calls and visits.
Plan, organise and deliver
engagement initiatives for stakeholders (e.g. lunch and learn, skills
workshops, breakfast meetings).
Organise and lead internal
events and initiatives to foster a sense of community.
Provide relevant and timely
specialist advice and guidance on internal and external communications and
engagement.
The production of communication
materials including copywriting, proofreading, and liaising with designers
and printers.
To
maintain and update contact lists and databases of key stakeholders working
with the Programme Support Office (PSO) where applicable.
Work with workstream leads to set
key performance indicators for communication/ engagement projects, measurable
against sets of agreed metrics. Use these to assess effectiveness of
strategies and to shape future approaches.
To lead on the production of an EPR
newsletter by gathering content, copywriting and designing it in line with
branding guidelines.
To assist with EPR recruitment
marketing.
