Main duties of the job
UHS Estates Ltd (UEL) is looking for an Estates Officer to join our Electrical Team on a permanent basis. We operate across Southampton General Hospital and Princess Anne Hospital, this is a large static site.
You will will have relevant knowledge and experience in an Electrical Engineering Field to a HNC or Degree level. IOSH or NEEBOSH certification, an understanding Electrical distribution systems, IET Wiring Regulations, Building Services, Health Care Environment, Knowledge of HTM06-02/06-03.

- Ability to climb vertical ladders to open roof areas, and be able to access confined spaces such as steam and crawl ducts (if necessary, with reasonable adjustments with respect to the Equality Act/Disability Discrimination Act)
Qualifications / training required

- NC/Degree or equivalent examined qualification in an Electrical Engineering or related field
- IOSH managing safely qualification must have or acquire within 6-months of taking up post
- Experience in CAD Packages
- Knowledge of Building Regs and understanding of statutory and legal processes in respect to site developments or acquire training within agreed period of time
