Job summary

Interview Date 13th December 2023.

The Procurement team at Barnsley Facilities Services is looking for a procurement data analyst to join our team. You will use procurement systems and tools to provide the team with data and expert analysis. The Department is involved in a range of local, regional and national initiatives including our high performing Integrated Care System and your skills will support us in meeting our local and national targets.

You will have experience of data extraction and analysis and have excellent Excel skills. You will work closely with all members of our Team supporting them in their goals and contributing to achievement of our strategy.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will be the analyst lead for the department, expertly able to extract data, analyse it and report findings with interpretation to the category leads. You will be proficient in excel and have an innate understanding of how to manipulate data in order to provide intelligent analysis which in turn informs the strategy of the department.

You will also be responsible for extracting and uploading data required as part of national requirements routinely and as required.

You will be the go to person for any issues with data or use of our systems providing training and assistance as required.
