Project Support Manager

Job summary

Due to arecent promotion, the HEIW Planning and Performance team are looking to recruit a Project Support Manager to manage elements of specific projects and provide administrative and technical project support. The role will provide administrative, project, and communications support across the programme management and sustainability workstreams initially.

We are looking for someone who is organised, has excellent communications skills, and can build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.

This role is within a central enabling team and provides a great opportunity for exposure to multiple areas of the organisation and skills development in areas of work that are central to the NHS Wales transformation agenda.

Main duties of the job

Leads on specified elements of project management, which may vary, based on project priorities.

The post holder is a key member of the team supporting the progress and status of projects and initiatives, including risk management, working closely with relevant managers, as required.

Supports, facilitates, and monitors progress of projects and identifies risks, reporting to the Programme / Project manager.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
